Taylor-Grady House, Athens’ only National Historic Landmark, has entered a new era. The estate encompasses not just the main house but also includes lush grounds featuring a boxwood garden and the original detached kitchen. We strive to tell the story of the African-Americans who worked and lived in the home, and open our doors for all to experience an inclusive history through education, preservation and hospitality.

This new approach to making Taylor-Grady House accessible to all does not end the era of elegant weddings and gala events, but the new services make possible a variety of meeting, training and small event spaces with special rates and accommodations for Athens’ nonprofit and civic services.
